After the herd dispersal at The Legacy Sale 2000, we lost track of many alpacas.  Some were re-sold, some died, but some were destined to come back to us.  Bear's dam, Merill Lynch, was on incredible Lanark production female, gorgeous head, huge bone, awesome fleece, killer coverage from her fuzzy ears to her stove pipe legs, a wonderful mother, always a big milker.  Her cria were sold so fast, it was dizzying, and the color!  Completely by chance, I found her at age seventeen, looking almost unchanged, with a super-typey popcorn-fleeced black cria sired by none other than multiple blue ribboned Peruvian Gladiator, a phenomenal 5Peruvian Black Ice son!

Bear will be standing stud at Little Wing permanently and I am sure you will all understand that, just this once, this one is just for us.
