When you consider this little girl's pedigree, her fiber shouldn't be a surprise. She comes by it honestly. Tequila, her Peruvian sire, a champion Hemingway son, who just sold for $75,000 in 2006, and an Accoyo 4Peruvian Pachacuti daughter for a dam ... not a bad lineup.
Shadblow has ultrafine, super-dense, bright fiber but the best part is her crimp style and astounding coverage. It extends into ALL her extremities, down her legs, up her neck and throughout her topknot. She has crimp underneath her "V: eyes, her face cracks when she moves. My husband says she looks like the bearded lady at the circus. Her prime fleece wraps around her belly.
She is still only a cria, not even weaned yet and it has become impossible to find skin when we open her fiber. She feels like a memory foam mattress when you hold onto her, spongey. This is undoubtedly an elite fleeced cria, but we really get goose bumps thinking about her future breedings to our new full Accoyo, MA Accoyo Full Throttle!
