Mirabai was a much beloved thirteenth century Hindu mystic whose songs and poems declare her ecstatic love of God. She traveled from village to village, singing and dancing to her poems, which are still enthusiastically performed today.
Mira has beautiful conformation and is the spitting image of her multi-ribboned full sister, Charlotte at the same age. She has phenomenal presence and sytle, a confident and very laid back personality and a superb head with total coverage. This is a lovely female from respected, elite and thoroughly proven Allianza genetics out of Hemingway, who is no longer available for outside breedings and Bueno, who at 15 years of age, is commanding a stud fee of $10,000.
Lillian, her dam, is a wonderful production female for us, a great birther and milker, and has had three girls and only one boy thus far, all high quality. Our herdsire, EB White Mira's sire, is a full Peruvian Hemingway son and is a stylish male with remarkable fiber stats. EB has remained VERY fine and uniform with no coarse fiber or guard hair in his fleece, with fabulous, heritable, soft handle rarely exhibited by active, breeding males.
Our future plans are to breed Mira to our full Accoyo, MA Accoyo Full Throttle when she is ready, but first we plan to show her this spring. Wish us luck!
